Inspiration & Background |
In the midst of corporate success, Denise recognized there was more
to experiencing fulfillment than what she had been
taught in a traditional American upbringing. She became
determined to deepen her awareness and seek new possibilities
to live a life filled with greater joy, fulfillment and
inner peace.
As a young
adult Denise was inspired
by her mother’s cousin Elaine,
who was given an abrupt terminal prognosis due to breast cancer.
At the age of 47, Elaine was given less than one year to
live with conventional medical treatment which she chose to
receive.
Several years later Denise did not understand how Elaine
looked so radiantly healthy or how she could even be
alive. At
an annual Thanksgiving gathering, Elaine's eyes
beamed with light as she clasped
Denise’s hand and quietly revealed how she was guided to
deal "positively" with a metastatic disease that filled her
bones. Elaine’s successful
approach to living ignited a fire of curiosity and inspiration in Denise.
Through Elaine's example, Denise
learned that "every thought is a prayer"
and committed to learn and share tools
of empowerment to embody deeper meaning in
various dimensions of life.
By the way, Elaine just celebrated
her 74th birthday this year!

Denise is a visionary who recognizes that
each individual is significant to the greater whole.
She
believes that every challenge is an opportunity for humanity to
compassionately learn and grow with one another through
understanding and collective wisdom. All of life is
interconnected and there is no one action or event which can
occur in isolation that does not somehow impact all of life.
Humanity has an invitation to deepen both individual and
collective awareness while learning to hold diverse
perspectives to make a meaningful difference in the the
global community we live in. No matter what our
past stories or present circumstances may tell, each individual,
community, culture, and nation has
its own unique gifts and talents to share.
Denise's professional life included
being a
consultant/producer/designer of multi-media events for Bell
Labs, AT&T, Genigraphics, The Port Authority of NY/NJ, Merck
